Levels of Service
Life Search Technologies lets you select your level of service. We realize that every employer’s staffing needs are different. With this in mind, we have developed several levels of service to choose from. These levels are designed to give your company the flexibility and resources to meet your unique hiring needs. Whichever level you choose, rest assured your hiring needs will be achieved and your expectations exceeded.
The fully retained search is for companies who want the Life Search Technologies’ staff completely dedicated to its search. On retainer, we will work with you to fully assess and outline the needs and specifications for your critical position. Your openings will command our top attention. The search fee will be paid in 3 installments. One-third of the estimated fee will be paid in the beginning to commence the search; one-third of the estimated fee will be paid 30 days after search begins and the final adjusted fee will be paid once a candidate is hired. (We do not charge expenses other than client authorized travel.)
The partially retained search is an agreement that enables Life Search Technologies to fully enlist in your search with the understanding that both parties are committed to finding and placing a first-rate candidate together. A non-refundable retainer or engagement fee of one-third of the estimated fee is required to begin this dedicated search process. The engagement fee will then be subtracted from the final fee which is contingent based on the placement of a first-rate candidate. Should you employ a candidate on your own, the engagement will be credited to your account and applied towards a future search.
A contingency search is one performed in good faith. We will refer candidates to you that we believe to be excellent matches for your positions; your company pays only when it hires one of these referred candidates.
Interim staffing is an excellent way to approach a number of circumstances in which a critical position is vacant. Very often a position is open and there cannot be a gap between the vacancy and filling the position with a permanent candidate. It is also a stop gap when the recruitment process is taking longer than expected. Interim candidates can also bring a level of expertise to a position when there are challenges that need resolution but do not require that expertise in the long term. LST can identify a professional who can elevate or maintain the functionality of a management or clinical opening until an ideal candidate is identified.
It has been our experience that the interim candidate will on occasion; consider taking the position permanently after a period of time this a result of the client and the candidate becoming comfortable with each other in terms of goals and expectations of the position.
The company will work with LST to determine an hourly rate, housing, transportation, per diem and schedule. The client is responsible for all salary and reimbursement costs as well as our fees for providing the candidate.
Contract Staffing allows you to bring in top-notch professionals for a specific length of time or a specific project. By using candidates recruited by Life Search Technologies and employed by us, you can lower your headcount while receiving greater flexibility. This will free you up from human resources issues, Federal and State taxation, Workers’ Compensation, payroll, and unemployment liabilities. All you have to do is pay an hourly rate for the time the Life Search Technologies Contracting employee actually works. No more paying for sick days, lunches, vacations, holidays, etc.
Temp-to-Direct Hiring is used when you want to evaluate a candidate’s skill level, technical ability, and personality before you make an employment offer with your company. It is also used when “open requisitions” are not available, but a candidate is needed immediately to fill the gap.
